liners - Xavan?

Hey all - still waiting to hear people's opinions on a waterfall filter.  But anyone ever use Xavan as a liner versus the EPDM?  It's apparently just as strong, better UV resistance and 1/3 rd the weight, which for a 20x20 sheet means the different between 170 lbs and 40 lbs.

I bought a piece..wonder what i did with it?

My pond plans enlarged drastically after I bought that piece so I never used it.  Now curious as to what others think as well

I was wondering how the bonding with other liners works with it, as well.  I was thinking of using xavan for my new pond, then having a stream connecting that to my old pond, which is EPDM.  I'd like to seam the liners together - I have a 5 x 10 EPDM liner sitting around I was going to repurpose for the stream, so I'd need to join the xavan and epdm at some point.
