I know!! I am mostly a Lurker!!!  I promise to post more when Spring comes!

This is now my 3rd winter. First time for Major Ice arround waterfall.
Since I am just north of Dallas TX, I keep everything running year round.
I have a few plants and one lily in the pond and 3 small lilies in a tank in my sunroom waiting for next spring. They were floating at the end of fall clean out so I potted them up to put out next spring. They have really smallish pads, but are surviving. The sunroom is enclosed and not heated.

This last yr I have 2 Koi (14in long), 6 Shubunkins, 6 Goldfish and Managed to end up with 5 mystery fish(babies)! I did have a Catfish in there for a year so that explains the small amount of babies this yr. The catfish is gone now, he had problems and we never saw him unless we took the hiding places away from him.

This is actually a good time to jump in!  While our ponds are at recess we can plan or dream of what's to come in the Spring!  No need to lurk!  Good one, Pondjoy!

I would rather consider myself a browser. I read as much of the postings here everyday when I'm home. I enjoy the interest other people have in ponds and their fish. I contribute when I feel that I have something worth saying or sharing. What I like the most about American Ponders is that no matter what the question, someone has an answer or at least a suggestion. Thanks to all of you.

I'm in the same class as Rich except I may have more experience with ponding than him. If I don't have the experience required to answer a question or to help someone, I don't reply and I won't use internet knowledge. All my plant knowledge is first hand experience. I get a new plant, read up on it, prove the reading wrong or right, and make notes.
